Atlas Prestige
Atlas Prestige is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been lucky enough to visit. The riad is located above the village of Imlil and surrounding hamlets, giving an amazing view both of the buildings and the Atlas Mountains (sometimes snow capped). The riad itself is a beautiful mesh of different rooms and vibes, each lovingly decorated. Large open terraces and shelters let you sit for hours with mint tea and watch the shadows move across the rock faces of the mountains. The dinner at Atlas Prestige was a highlight, as a vegetarian their tagine was filling and generous, especially the gorgeous large slices of potato. I had made a few rookie mistakes with my bookings (bring cash if doing excursions/paying for transfers - card ver reasonably NOT ACCEPTED like most places in Imlil), but the staff were constantly looking to accommodate us and help us. I am very grateful for all the assistance they gave us. I would love to visit again and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed 2 nights as a family in late March 2025 occupying 3 rooms, travelling from Marrakech (about 1hr 20 mins). The scenery is stunning and the staff were super-helpful, organising onward travel to Essaouira for us (about 3hrs 40 mins). The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast and evening meals were great. To walk down into town is probably about 8 minutes and a bit longer on the return as it is uphill - this is a mountain location and the paths are rough, so it wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. It's notably chillier in Imlil due to the elevation, so pack accordingly. There's a pretty easy walk to the nearest waterfall past the Kasbah du Toubkal (worth a visit for a drink) and another walk dropping down into the valley and across to another waterfall. We found everyone friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Atlas Prestige. Mohamed, Ibrahim and Youssef are so helpful and look after you very well. You are welcomed with mint tea and they will always make one if you ask. The rooms are lovely and decorated in a traditional style. Water was hot and there was tea/ coffee and water in the room. The breakfasts and evening meals were amazing, I would highly recommend staying in for dinner. Traditional tagines and couscous. It was cold at night because December but there is some heating in the room and a fire in the lounge. The terrace only had sun between 11 and 3. Be prepared for a bit of a climb if you go to Imlil village. I went hiking for one day and Ibrahim, Yourself and Mohamed were all helpful advising with the route. I will visit again and recommend others do if they come to Imlil.

Abdou/Mohammed for their hospitality from welcome to goodbye. They also hooked us up with a wonderful young guide Abdel, for 2 days of hiking (inc a reward of Berber family lunch). Ibrahim for feeding us so well - his tagines weren’t surpassed anywhere else we ate in Imlil or Marrakech! After having sad sugary jam breakfasts in Marrakech we truly appreciated and missed the local honey and amlou the Atlas Prestige hosts provided every morning. The private terrace was perfect for morning yoga in the shade but I would pop into communal terrace for sun. Words can’t do justice to describe the view…you’ll just have to see it for yourself.

We are travelling Morocco in our Campervan but occasionally like to stay in a local hotel. We booked a room with a terrace for 2 nights and then messaged the hotel asking where would be a good place to park the van. We couldn’t have asked for a better response. They told us to message them when we arrived and they would show us where to park. On arrival, within minutes of messaging them we were shown to a private locked parking area and then driven to the hotel with our bags. What’s more, they didn’t even charge us for parking! The view from our terrace, the room, the food and the service were all exceptional. Highly recommend
