Facade/entrance in Atlas Prestige

You really can’t beat the setup of this place, perched on a hillside with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. The rooms are great and extremely comfortable. Hot water works well. They serve good food, and the staff are great. As someone with type A personality who likes to keep a strict schedule, I rarely deviate from my original plan but I liked this place so much I stayed an extra night!

Mountain view in Atlas Prestige

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.. Our room was amazing with a stunning view into the mountains seen straight from the bed or balcony (the bungalow). Breakfast was very good as was the optional dinner which was extremely good value for €10 pp. 15min interesting walk down to the village and similar to the lovely waterfalls above us. Mohammed arranged a guided walk for us which was excellent.

Stunning! We loved this place with beautiful views. All the rooms were cosy and clean, very comfortable. Beautifully decorated with Moroccan rugs and blankets. We had three rooms and all had a lovely balcony with the most amazing views. Meals were wonderful, both the generous breakfast and the delicious candlelit dinners. The hosts are so generous and friendly, and we felt so well-looked after. They arranged a wonderful guide for a hike, and also helped with luggage and transport after our taxi driver let us down! We travelled all over Morocco and this was our highlight. Thanks for a brilliant stay.

Mountain view in Atlas Prestige

The place has a great view on the mountains, it is worth everything :) The rooms are comfortable and authentic. Greatest plus is that the Imlil waterfall is only a 15 min walk from the hotel and the stuff offers a guided tour if you are not comfortable going alone. During the night it gets cold in the room, but there is heating!

Mohammed, Ibrahim and all the staff made our stay really special. Their service was exceptional and they couldn't do enough for us. They helped us with taxis and tours and anything else we asked. The view from our room (no. 7, Mezik) was out of this world and had a large private balcony. We enjoyed eating with the other guests and getting to know them sitting on the communal balconies. It was a short walk to the village where we had use of a pool at another hotel. It was the perfect location for walking to the waterfall too.

Abdou/Mohammed for their hospitality from welcome to goodbye. They also hooked us up with a wonderful young guide Abdel, for 2 days of hiking (inc a reward of Berber family lunch). Ibrahim for feeding us so well - his tagines weren’t surpassed anywhere else we ate in Imlil or Marrakech! After having sad sugary jam breakfasts in Marrakech we truly appreciated and missed the local honey and amlou the Atlas Prestige hosts provided every morning. The private terrace was perfect for morning yoga in the shade but I would pop into communal terrace for sun. Words can’t do justice to describe the view…you’ll just have to see it for yourself.

Lounge or bar in Atlas Prestige

We stayed 2 nights as a family in late March 2025 occupying 3 rooms, travelling from Marrakech (about 1hr 20 mins). The scenery is stunning and the staff were super-helpful, organising onward travel to Essaouira for us (about 3hrs 40 mins). The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast and evening meals were great. To walk down into town is probably about 8 minutes and a bit longer on the return as it is uphill - this is a mountain location and the paths are rough, so it wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. It's notably chillier in Imlil due to the elevation, so pack accordingly. There's a pretty easy walk to the nearest waterfall past the Kasbah du Toubkal (worth a visit for a drink) and another walk dropping down into the valley and across to another waterfall. We found everyone friendly and helpful.

Restaurant/places to eat in Atlas Prestige

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Atlas Prestige. Mohamed, Ibrahim and Youssef are so helpful and look after you very well. You are welcomed with mint tea and they will always make one if you ask. The rooms are lovely and decorated in a traditional style. Water was hot and there was tea/ coffee and water in the room. The breakfasts and evening meals were amazing, I would highly recommend staying in for dinner. Traditional tagines and couscous. It was cold at night because December but there is some heating in the room and a fire in the lounge. The terrace only had sun between 11 and 3. Be prepared for a bit of a climb if you go to Imlil village. I went hiking for one day and Ibrahim, Yourself and Mohamed were all helpful advising with the route. I will visit again and recommend others do if they come to Imlil.

This is a great guesthouse perched above Imlil village with fantastic views which you can enjoy from the terrace and the bedrooms. Yusef was really helpful during our stay, arranging a guide for us to go on an amazing one day hike in the mountains. We ate twice at the guesthouse and the food was delicious and very generous helpings. The bedrooms are comfortable and colourful, with heating, blankets and hot water (it was cold in late December). I would definitely recommend a stay here! It's worth knowing that it's a 10 minute walk up a hillside path from the village, although worth it for the views when you get there!

View (from property/room) in Atlas Prestige

Atlas Prestige is a great stay. Incredible value, and an opportunity to support friendly locals within Imlil. All the service we received was great. We did a 4-5 hour hike including lunch with a guide, Hussein. It was the highlight of our stay. Hussein took us through the valley, around a few towns, and up above where the towns lie for some nice views . It was not particularly difficult for my wife and I who are in good shape and in our early 30's Some of the best views we experienced were at Atlas Prestige.
